Wusu city, Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, recently held the Tianshan Mountain Forum to discuss the development of the city’s logistics industry. The event, which was part of the Xinjiang Wusu Beer Festival, attracted both logistics-sector experts and enterprise representatives.
Wusu is a county-level city located at the intersection of the Northern and Southern Xinjiang highways, which means it benefits from an advantageous geographic location and convenient transportation.
Forum participants discussed the city’s ongoing logistics industry park project, which will cost 289 million yuan ($46.8 million). The project’s infrastructure and green belt have already been completed, and 29 enterprises are slated to settle within the park.
It is predicted that, after three to five years of development, the Wusu Logistics Park’s annual cargo quantity will exceed 30 million tons, and annual trade revenue will reach 20 billion yuan.
